members creating new and exciting programs.

Cooking and Baking

Partnerships: local restaurants/chefs, technical schools, colleges, and certified culinary professionals.
Description: learning cooking skills for all levels to independently create delicious meals; learning table etiquette and the proper way to set a table. Special occasion dinners to be prepared by the class for family and friends.

Men's Health

Partnerships: local men’s salons and barber shops
Description: Focusing on shaving independently, personal hygiene and hair care. Focusing on confidence and how to dress appropriately for different occasions and proper social life skills during special occasions. At the end of every 3 to 5 week session we will have a fun night out with friends.

Health and Wellness

Partnerships: local technical schools, colleges, cosmetology professionals.
Description: Classes will teach the importance of personal hygiene and skin care. Learn all the techniques of taking care of our skin, proper way to apply cosmetics, hair care, nail care and all associated with aesthetic beauty.
Focusing on inner beauty, self-esteem and the best ways to feel beautiful inside and out and love yourself just the way you are. At the end of every 3 to 5 week session we will have a special night out being pampered and having a nice dinner with friends. Our year will end with a high-quality fashion show.

Arts and Culture

Description: Exploring the world of the arts going to local museums, theatre productions, art galleries, comedy shows, paint nights, and more. After we enjoy a night of the arts we will go to dinner with our friends. These events will encourage social skills and independence.

Trips and Tips

Description: Enjoying many trips to bowling alleys, movie theaters, shopping during the holidays, local boat cruises, and much more. We will go to dinner after our outing with our friends. These trips will encourage life skills we need to socialize in all kinds of settings and all the skills we need in a restaurant including proper manners, ordering from a menu, money skills and more.

Community Care Club

Partnerships: Veterans community, local food pantries, gift giving programs, and more.
Description: Exploring the world of volunteering and giving back to the people in our community. We will be helping out at a variety of different organizations that rely on volunteers to provide services to the people they support. This is a great opportunity to not only do great things for
other people in need but to give ourselves one of the best gifts ever: The Gift of Giving.

Music

Partnerships: local musicians, local school music departments
Description: Offering a variety of music classes such as chorus, drum circle, holiday concerts, music therapy and much more.

Photography

Partnerships: Local art studios, professional photographers and photography teachers.
Description: Learning how to use a digital camera and explore the world of photography. Traveling to many exciting locations capturing
beautiful unique photography through the artist’s eye. At the end of the course we will have a magnificent Art Show showcasing all the breath-taking photos. We will have an opening night for family and friends and the community.

Arts

Description: offering a variety of art classes  such as drawing, painting, clay, pottery, sewing and jewelry making and much more.

Drama

Partnerships: local drama schools and drama club professionals 
Description: Learn acting skills with the help of volunteers. At the end of the drama course a production will be held for family and friends and our community. At the end of the year we will have an Oscar Night to celebrate the ​actors.

Journalism /
​​Creative Writing

Partnerships:  local newspaper professionals, writing specialists, journalism teachers Description: This journalism club will meet to create a BTB newsletter every 3 months. We will focus on stories about BTB programs,activities, personal member accomplishments, and community  involvement. ​*included with membership

Teen Game Night /
​Dances

Partnerships: local schools 
Description: Teen nights will be held in BTB  club gymnasium and will rely heavily on volunteers. We will provide a night of fun games such as bingo and trivia which will be played with the help of volunteers. The second part of the night , music will be played and food will be served.  We will dance the rest of the night away with friends. ​*discounted fee with membership

Adult Dances

Partnerships: Local restaurants and function halls, local DJ’s/Entertainment groups Description:  Dinner will be served and   participants will be able to independently order non-alcoholic beverages  provided during the dance. A professional DJ will play and there will be themed dances throughout the year. Dances will encourage social skills and provide opportunities to enjoy friends, boyfriends and girlfriends in a fun, safe environment.

Baseball

Length of season: 8 week season in the Spring Age: 7 to 19 years old depending on ability Partnerships: local high schools and college 
baseball teams, local town baseball programs Description:  Baseball will rely heavily on volunteers to assist players on and off the field. Players will be divided into two teams and be paired with a teammate to help them with batting, fielding and running bases. Every player that participates will have the opportunity to bat and hit the ball with or without assistance. Stations will be set out in the outfield during games so players that are not batting will have the opportunity to practice their skills. Award banquet will be held at the end of the season.

Qualified Specialists

Programs and classes will be led by qualified, trained specialists in their specific field under supervision of organization staff members.

Adult Softball

Partnerships: local high schools and colleges
Description: Adult softball will be co-ed and will be played as a traditional game. The players will be divided into teams and will have        
volunteer assistance if needed.  Award banquet will be held at the end of the season.

Basketball

Partnerships: local high schools and college       
basketball teams, local town basketball programs 
Description:  Basketball will rely heavily o volunteers. The players will practice a variety of basketball skills with assistance if needed.  Basketball scrimmage will be played and all players will have opportunity to dribble and shoot a basketball. Award banquet will be held at the end of the season.

Karate

Partnerships: qualified karate instructor/studio with the help of our professional staff.
Description: This class will help teach balance and confidence and will allow participants to work toward their belts.

Indoor Soccer

Partnerships: local high school and college soccer teams 
Description: Soccer will rely heavily on volunteers to assist players. The players will be paired with their teammate and learn different soccer skills throughout the season. Soccer scrimmages will be played and all players will have the opportunity to dribble and score a goal for their team.  Award banquet will be held at the end of the season.
